One of the most common questions we receive from medical students, residents, fellows, and early-career psychiatrists is:

"How do I actually get involved in sports psychiatry?"

This month's meeting is designed specifically to answer that question.

Members of the SPH Executive Board will share their own journeys into sports psychiatry, discuss the experiences that helped them develop expertise in the field, and provide practical guidance on how those opportunities can be replicated! Whether you're a medical student exploring psychiatry, a resident hoping to build a sports psychiatry niche, or an early-career psychiatrist looking to pivot into the field, we hope this discussion provides concrete next steps and actionable advice. Most importantly, we want this session to be driven by your questions.
